A curious object with luminosity and poise, Minima by Patkau Products is a floor or table lamp designed to softly illuminate any indoor space.

The name Minima tells the story of its surface. We developed Minima through many experiments of stretching, bending, restraining, pulling, and warping—not to mention destroying— various materials. The elegant form that emerged is the minimum 3D surface between 2D curves. It is internally static and visually dynamic. The skin of the lamp is a proprietary paper pulp composite surface. Its curvature expresses maximal contraction. Within, a clear acrylic skeleton suspends an LED array and unifies the whole. The subtle tone of illumination, unique to Minima, results from graded filtration through the composite skin.
